Way to share the gospel Mom!

Elder Anderson (Apostle Guy) came and spoke to us this past week and taught us alot about the atonement. you know stuff you dont find in books and stuff you have to look really hard for in the scriptures. It was really cool. I feel closer to the saviour than ever and an feeling really grateful as of late for all the blessing the lord has given me. I dont want to be poud, but my companion and I have broken a mission record for consecutive weeks with baptisms. Its pretty awesome the way people accept the gospel when they come to an understanding of the atonement and what it really means. my shoes are fine.... kinda. my pants are.... mended. and all ties are welcome here. thanks for the package mom!! i got highlighters and various candies which my companion loved. hes decided that baby ruths are the best candies ever.

We had two baptisms this week and four in the zone. Here are some pictures of Pday and the baptisms. we have another baptism next week and a wedding and two baptisms the 23rd. Were baptizing like crazy here, my companion and i have baptized 6 weeks in a row and might go on for 4 more weeks. Its super exciting. how are you guys doing? 

read Ezekiel 33-34. awesome scriptures along with 2 nefi 26:29. it applies alot to leadership. we have to remember that Christ is the light of the world and when we replace him with ourselves we become Antichrists. bad stuff.

He commandeth that there shall be no priest-crafts; for, behold, priest-crafts are that men preach and set themselves up for a light unto the world, that they may get gain and praise of the world; but they seek not the welfare of Zion.

hotels are super cheap. like 20 soles for one night.  thats like 7 dollars.  I want to take you to visit some families here and then we can go to cuzco or puno if you want and the temple in lima. travel once you get to peru is cheap. a six hour bus ride is like 10 dollars. just get to arequipa and Ill take you where we need to go!! :)

I asked president if I could extend and he shot me down, .. oh well!

so i was reading in the mission manual this morning and were not supposed to include anything negative acerca de the area in which we are serving... And it kind of makes sense i guess. i have to try really hard not to have negative thoughts be cause they lead to negative actions.  six weeks left. we have a baptism tomorrow!! super stoked!! its been a while.... will send pictures next week or Sunday. nothing else exciting really
